In 2006, world ceramic tile output attained to 7.695 billion ㎡from an increase by 10% compared to 6.969 billion m2 of 2005. In world ceramic industry, China, proverbially, hold the position as the largest ceramic production country. Based upon Official statistics, China's ceramic tile turnout reached 3.2 billion ㎡, which accounts for 39% of world total ceramic tile yield and almost makes up of the whole increase of Asia.
